Achievement Unlocked Season 3 Terms & Conditions

1.           Contest Entries

1.1     The Contest will run from 25 April 2022 to 26 June 2022. All entries must be received by 23:59 hours(GMT +08:00) on 26 June 2022.

1.2    Customers have to submit proof of completion of the challenges by posting on Facebook and/or Instagram and tag @myrepublicgamersg to participate. The entries and profiles have to be set to public so that we can view and verify the entries. Only completed entries submitted that met the criteria listed on https://myrepublic.net/sg/achievement-unlocked/ will be eligible for the Contest prizes.

1.3    All submissions must be authentic representations of the participant’s own efforts, and are subject to proof upon request by MyRepublic. Participants must not pass off the work of others as their own work. MyRepublic reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and participants and to disqualify any entry not submitted in accordance with these Terms or which tampers with the entry process. Any misrepresentation of any fact or information may require in forfeiture, withholding, withdrawal or reclaiming of any prizes won.  

1.4    Only comprehensible Achievement Unlocked submissions will be accepted by MyRepublic for participation. MyRepublic has the sole and absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of any potential participant.

1.5    MyRepublic is not responsible for any loss of entries due to any problems caused by telephone lines or systems or internet service providers, for entries received after the deadline as a consequence of telephone or internet service delays, interruptions, failures or overloads. Entries are void if unreadable, inaccurate, incomplete, damaged, mutilated, tampered with, falsified, mechanically reproduced, irregular in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Terms.

1.6    A total of 44 winners across Season Achievement and Weekly Achievement will be chosen from the eligible entries and contacted via email by 1 July 2022.

2.           Eligibility

2.1     To be eligible for this Contest, you must, at the time of participation, winner selection, and prize collection:

(i) be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident, or have a dependent, diplomatic, student, or employment pass with a validity period of at least six (6) months;

(ii) be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of their parent or guardian;

(iii) have an active MyRepublic broadband or mobile subscription registered under your name; and

(iv) not have any outstanding payments due to us.

2.2    Employees of MyRepublic and their immediate families, MyRepublic sponsors, agents, suppliers and MyRepublic Partner Program members associated with this Contest are not eligible to participate.

2.3   We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the terms of this Contest, including but not limited to entries that are incomplete, ineligible, or contain incorrect information.

2.4   All entries will be reviewed by the MyRepublic Achievement Unlocked team, composed from members of MyRepublic employees and/or their authorised partners. The team shall select the entry which best satisfies the judging criteria to win.

2.5   In order to ascertain the authenticity of a winning entry, MyRepublic employees will contact shortlisted participants for additional information. This may include, but is not limited to: adding the participant as an in-game friend to view their profile, asking for additional information on their submission, or asking them to take a photo of themselves with their account in the background.

2.6   The decisions of MyRepublic shall be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received and each entrant’s ability to provide the winning criteria. Winners will be notified by private message or email and announced to the general public on MyRepublic social media platforms and website.

2.7   By entering the competition, you are confirming that the submission is your own work and does not infringe the rights (including the intellectual property) of any third party. You hereby waive all moral rights in respect of any copyright in the name or copyright material submitted by you and accept that MyRepublic may use such name and content for any purposes whatsoever, including marketing and promotional purposes, in whatever media and format. You agree to allow MyRepublic to display any name or image you submit. You accept that MyRepublic may alter the visual appearance of the name and images before they are displayed.

2.8   MyRepublic reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so. MyRepublic also reserves the right to vary any of these Terms and Conditions without notice. In such an event, MyRepublic will make reasonable efforts to communicate any change with entrants.

2.9   If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, MyRepublic may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

3.           Participant Conduct

3.1     At all times while participating in Achievement Unlocked contest, the participant must not:

(i) post, or transmit through Achievement Unlocked any content that is: defamatory, abusive, vulgar, obscene, profane or offensive;

(ii) infringes or violates another party’s intellectual property rights;

(iii) violates any party’s right to protection of personal data;

(iv) threatens, harasses or that promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;

(v) promotes or encourages violence;

(vi) illegal or promotes any illegal activities;

(vii) engage in, or in connection with fraudulent activity; or

(viii) contains any advertising, promotional materials, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or any other form of solicitation.

3.2    Hacks, mods, cheats or third party applications are not allowed. Any form of cheating including without limitation sharing accounts, ghosting and piloting, is strictly prohibited. Any form of cheating results in disqualification regardless whether the cheat is successful or not.

3.3     The participant must not:

(i) gain unauthorized access to the Achievement Unlocked systems or any account (other than the participant’s own), interfere with the communications, procedures or performance of Achievement Unlocked or deliberately damage or undermine any systems or sites related to Achievement Unlocked;

(ii) affect the outcome of the participant’s online game means of or with the assistance of macros, bots, automated programs, screen analysis utilities, player collusion, any type of modifications, memory readers, telepathy, alien technology or similar methods or to otherwise commit fraud in relation to Achievement Unlocked;

(iii) alter the human skill component of any game played; or

(iv) not data scrape, copy, aggregate, redistribute, alter, reproduce or re-use for commercial purposes any participant’s information accessible through Achievement Unlocked.

3.4    Any attempt to carry out acts in Clauses 3.1 to 3.3 above will result in the termination of participation and forfeiture of any prize to which the participant would otherwise receive. MyRepublic, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to terminate any participant’s entry who is suspected of tampering with their game results for the tournament entered.

4.           Prizes

4.1    Each winner will receive one (1) of the following prizes below:

– Elden Ring Collector’s Edition (EN) for PS4 + Sudio Vasa Blå Black Earphones total worth over $350

– Exclusive Elden Ring SteelBook + Razer DeathAdder Elite Gaming Mouse worth over $109.90

4.2    We reserve the right to select a number of “reserve winners” to replace any winner subsequently disqualified. The number of “reserve winners” and the manner of replacement will be made at our discretion.

4.3    The list of winners will be published at https://myrepublic.net/sg/achievement-unlocked/ and winners will be contacted via their registered email address within 30 days of the release of the Contest results. Winners must provide their identification documents to claim their prize for verification and audit purposes. We reserve the right to award any prize to any of the “reserve winners” should the original winner of the prize be uncontactable, unable to collect or receive the prize, decline the prize, or is subsequently disqualified.

4.4    Winners and “reserve winners” (where applicable) will have their prizes forfeited if they do not redeem their prizes by 30 September 2022.

4.5   The prizes given out as part of this Contest are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for cash. We have the right to substitute any prize for a comparable prize of equal or greater value to be awarded in lieu of the original prize, subject to any applicable laws, rules, regulations, or guidelines.

4.6    The winners may be required to participate in a photo-taking session during the issuing of prizes.

4.7    Acceptance of any prize shall constitute consent on the winner’s part to allow the use of the winner’s name, image, voice and/or likeness by us for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

4.8    Acceptance of any prize shall release us from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, and/or damages which the winner may have, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to: (i) the Contest, (ii) personal injury or property damage, theft or loss suffered by the winner as a result of the use or enjoyment of the prize, and/or (iii) any tax liabilities in relation to the Contest, prize or use or enjoyment of the same.

5.            Data Protection and Publicity

5.1     The participant understands that participation in Achievement Unlocked may require the participant to directly provide information which may personally identify the participant (“personal data”) to third party game service providers to access a game or tournament.

5.2     MyRepublic will not disclose a participant’s personal data to a third party without the individual’s consent. Please refer to MyRepublic’s Privacy Policy (https://myrepublic.net/sg/legal/terms-of-use-policies/privacy-policy/) for further details.

5.3     As part of Achievement Unlocked, the participants may have the ability to include certain personal data in the participant’s public profile. The participant hereby consents to the disclosure of its personal data provided on its public profile if the participant elects to do so.

5.4     By participating in Achievement Unlocked, each participant consents and hereby grants to MyRepublic a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, modify, create derivatives works from, combine with other works, post, transmit, display, publish, communicate to public, broadcast, distribute and/or otherwise visually exploit the submission (if applicable) and the participant’s name, Instagram photo, written communications, likeness and any other details supplied as part of Achievement Unlocked in any media, technology or content delivery mechanism now known or hereinafter devised for Achievement Unlocked, and in connection of promotional and marketing purposes of MyRepublic, without requiring any further consent or additional consideration.

6.            General

6.1     Any misrepresentation of any fact or particulars by the participant shall result in disqualification and/or the forfeiture, withholding, withdrawal or reclaiming of any prizes won.

6.2    We will endeavor to hold the Contest on and at the advertised date, time and venue and by the mode (manually or electronically) as advertised, but reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to conduct the Contest by another mode in such circumstances as we may deem appropriate.

6.3     MyRepublic makes no representation, warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition, fitness for any purpose or non-infringement.

6.4    You agree and acknowledge that nothing in these Terms gives you the right to use, reproduce, adapt or exploit any of MyRepublic’s trademarks, copyright, patent, proprietary information, and all other intellectual property rights owned or licensed to MyRepublic, whether registered or not or use any trademark which resembled MyRepublic’s trademarks so as to likely to cause confusion or deception.

6.5    By participating in this Contest, you hereby agree that any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used, or disclosed by us in connection with this Contest (including your name, email address, voice and photo or videos taken during events related or in connection with the Contest) by us for our advertising, marketing and promotional materials purposes in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of 2012 and MyRepublic’s Privacy Policy (available at https://myrepublic.net/sg/legal/terms-of-use-policies/privacy-policy/), without further compensation, except where prohibited by applicable law.

6.6    Non-compliance with or breach of any of these Terms applicable to the Contest or dishonesty, fraud or any other illegal activities shall immediately disqualify you from further participation at any stage of the Contest, and any prize won shall be forfeited, withheld or withdrawn.

6.7    You shall not, without our prior written approval, speak to the press or any other media nor give any interviews or comments relating to the Contest.

6.8    We shall not be liable for any expenses, losses, damages, costs or liabilities (collectively “Losses”) suffered or incurred (directly or indirectly) by you from your participating in the Contest, howsoever caused or arising, even if we are advised of such losses.

6.9    We reserve the right to suspend, cancel or vary these Terms or the Contest at our sole discretion without prior notice. In such an event, we shall not incur any liability whatsoever. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any brochure, marketing or promotion material relating to the Contest, these Terms shall prevail.

6.10   Our decision on all matters relating to the Contest and the selected winners is final and binding. No correspondence or claims regarding such matters will be entertained.

6.11    A person who is not a party to these Terms shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce these Terms.

6.12   This Contest shall be governed by Singapore law and you agree to submit any claim, dispute or controversy to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.

6.13   Any queries regarding the Contest should specify “CNY22 $8,880 Prosperity Draw” in the subject title and be sent to [email protected].
