Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the MyRepublic Talk app can only be used by MyRepublic Home Voice and MyRepublic mobile customers. If you are both, you can decide which number you’d like to use with Talk app.
Note that the rates for making calls will differ depending on the number linked to the Talk app: one will use Home Voice rates and the other, mobile calling rates. Only Home Voice numbers will enjoy free unlimited local incoming and outgoing calls.
The MyRepublic Talk app supports calls at HD quality and allows you to link your MyRepublic Home Voice number to the Talk app so calls to your Home Voice number also go to the app.
You can also call people who don’t have the app i.e. you could use the Talk app to call a friend and that friend doesn’t need to be using the Talk app to receive your call.
