5G is able to deliver faster speeds, higher bandwidth and lower latency than the earlier-generation 4G. With this latest generation of cellular network, users will enjoy smoother and more seamless on-the-go video calling, greater responsiveness in mobile gaming, and the capability to consistently stream high-definition streaming video content including 4K.
5G is available for everyone who sign up for a MyRepublic 5G plan. Simply select your preferred 5G plan, choose eSIM or physical SIM, activate the mobile service, and you’re good to go!
Do note that to enjoy 5G access, a compatible 5G device is required. Check out the list of compatible devices here.
You can sign up for our 5G Mobile Plans online or at any of the selected MyRepublic stores – AMK Hub, Bedok Mall, Hillion Mall, JCube, NEX, Seletar Mall, Sembawang Shopping Centre, Tampines Mall and Causeway Point.
Do note that a new 5G eSIM or physical SIM card will be issued. You may continue using your existing SIM until the temporary number on your 5G SIM is replaced by your own number when the number porting is completed.

If you do not have a 5G supported device, you may still sign up for a 5G plan and enjoy the service at 4G speed.
