The spin-off will serve as the telco’s latest growth channel under the leadership of industry veteran Jason Ong
Singapore, 6 September 2022: MyRepublic today announced the launch of its platform-as-a-service spin-off company, MyRepublic Digital. The spin-off, helmed by industry veteran Jason Ong, aims to simplify and productise digital transformation for telcos and aspiring digital brands around the world.
MyRepublic Digital launches with its flagship product Encore: a cloud-native, all-digital platform pre-built with industry-best practices and BSS/OSS features. The spin-off’s parent company, MyRepublic began ten years ago when its founders envisioned the need for an asset-light, lean and agile telecommunications provider.

An industry veteran with over 20 years of experience building, selling, and marketing telecom platforms and services, Jason was previously APAC Region Head of Tech Mahindra’s communications/media/entertainment business where he successfully spearheaded the growth of their platforms and services business. A passionate entrepreneur, Jason was part of the original startup of Convergys in Asia and also led a joint venture with Asiainfo China, the largest BSS company in China.
