Birthday Rewards Programme Terms & Conditions

1. Giveaway Entries

1.1 The Giveaway will run monthly and is open to all MyRepublic customers. All entries must be received by 2359 hours (GMT +08:00) on 4 June 2024.

1.2 Customers will be eligible for Birthday Rewards in the month of their birthday.

1.3 Customers have to submit the form to register their participation for the birthday rewards. Only completed entries submitted at https://myrepublic.net/sg/birthday-rewards/, https://myrepublic.net/sg/birthday-rewards-feb/, https://myrepublic.net/sg/birthday-rewards-mar/

(with all required fields filled in) will be eligible for the Giveaway prizes.

1.4    A total of 100 winners will be chosen on a first-come, first-served basis from the eligible entries and contacted via email.

1.5    The rewards given out are subject to change every month.

2. Eligibility

2.1 To be eligible for this Giveaway, you must, at the time of participation, winner selection, and prize collection:

(i) be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident, or have a dependent, diplomatic, student, or employment pass with a validity period of at least six (6) months;

(ii) be at least 18 years of age;

(iii) have an active MyRepublic broadband or mobile subscription registered under your name; and

(iv) not have any outstanding payments due to us.

2.2 Employees of MyRepublic and their immediate families, MyRepublic sponsors, agents, suppliers and MyRepublic Partner Program members associated with this Giveaway are not eligible to participate.

2.3 We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet the terms of this Giveaway, including but not limited to entries that are incomplete, ineligible, or contain incorrect information.

3. Prizes

3.1 Each winner will receive one (1) of the prizes below. Prizes will be randomly awarded to the winners: – CHICHA San Chen digital gift card (200 winners)

3.2 We reserve the right to select a number of “reserve winners” to replace any winner subsequently disqualified. The number of “reserve winners” and the manner of replacement will be made at our discretion.

3.3 Winners will be contacted via their registered email address within 30 days of the release of the Giveaway results. Winners must provide their identification documents to claim their prize for verification and audit purposes. We reserve the right to award any prize to any of the “reserve winners” should the original winner of the prize be uncontactable, unable to collect or receive the prize, decline the prize, or is subsequently disqualified.

3.4 Winners and “reserve winners” (where applicable) will have their prizes forfeited if they do not redeem their prizes by the expiry date indicated in the redemption email.

3.5 The prizes given out as part of this Giveaway are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for cash. We have the right to substitute any prize for a comparable prize of equal or greater value to be awarded in lieu of the original prize, subject to any applicable laws, rules, regulations, or guidelines.

3.6 Winners who terminate their MyRepublic plans before receipt of the prize will be disqualified and the “reserve winner” will be selected as the winner.

3.7 The winners may be required to participate in a photo-taking session during the issuing of prizes.

3.8 Acceptance of any prize shall constitute consent on the winner’s part to allow the use of the winner’s name, image, voice and/or likeness by us for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

3.9 Acceptance of any prize shall release us from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, and/or damages which the winner may have, whether known or unknown at the present time, of any nature whatsoever, arising out of or relating to: (i) the Giveaway, (ii) personal injury or property damage, theft or loss suffered by the winner as a result of the use or enjoyment of the prize, and/or (iii) any tax liabilities in relation to the Giveaway, prize or use or enjoyment of the same.

4. General

4.1 Any misrepresentation of any fact or particulars by the participant shall result in disqualification and/or the forfeiture, withholding, withdrawal or reclaiming of any prizes won.

4.2 We will endeavor to hold the Giveaway on and at the advertised date, time and venue and by the mode (manually or electronically) as advertised, but reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to conduct the Giveaway by another mode in such circumstances as we may deem appropriate.

4.3 MyRepublic makes no representation, warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition, fitness for any purpose or non-infringement.

4.4 You agree and acknowledge that nothing in these Terms gives you the right to use, reproduce, adapt or exploit any of MyRepublic’s trademarks, copyright, patent, proprietary information, and all other intellectual property rights owned or licensed to MyRepublic, whether registered or not or use any trademark which resembled MyRepublic’s trademarks so as to likely to cause confusion or deception.

4.5 By participating in this Giveaway, you hereby agree that any and all personal data submitted may be collected, used, or disclosed by us in connection with this Giveaway (including your name, email address, voice and photo or videos taken during events related or in connection with the Giveaway) by us for our advertising, marketing and promotional materials purposes in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of 2012 and MyRepublic’s Privacy Policy (available at https://myrepublic.net/sg/legal/terms-of-use-policies/privacy-policy/), without further compensation, except where prohibited by applicable law.

4.6 Non-compliance with or breach of any of these Terms applicable to the Giveaway or dishonesty, fraud or any other illegal activities shall immediately disqualify you from further participation at any stage of the Giveaway, and any prize won shall be forfeited, withheld or withdrawn.

4.7 You shall not, without our prior written approval, speak to the press or any other media nor give any interviews or comments relating to the Giveaway.

4.8 We shall not be liable for any expenses, losses, damages, costs or liabilities (collectively “Losses”) suffered or incurred (directly or indirectly) by you from your participating in the Giveaway, howsoever caused or arising, even if we are advised of such losses.

4.9 We reserve the right to suspend, cancel or vary these Terms or the Giveaway at our sole discretion without prior notice. In such an event, we shall not incur any liability whatsoever. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any brochure, marketing or promotion material relating to the Giveaway, these Terms shall prevail.

4.10 Our decision on all matters relating to the Giveaway and the selected winners is final and binding. No correspondence or claims regarding such matters will be entertained.

4.11 A person who is not a party to these Terms shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce these Terms.

4.12 This Giveaway shall be governed by Singapore law and you agree to submit any claim, dispute or controversy to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.

4.13 Any queries regarding the Giveaway should specify “Birthday Rewards” in the subject title and be sent to [email protected].
