We recently wrote to you to inform you about our new plans and pricing.
We only offer unlimited data plans on the nbn™ 50 and nbn™ 100 tier (speeds are variable) and they all now come with included local and national calling.
Simply complete the form, the only choice you need to make is whether or not to continue with Gamer Pro.
^nbn™ 50 refers to nominal access line speed, your speeds will vary based on the technology connecting your location to the nbn™ and other factors.
When we entered the market we declared it our mission to offer the fastest speeds and unlimited data at fair prices like our customers in Singapore, New Zealand and Indonesia enjoy. We have been working with nbn™ to demonstrate that Australia wants and needs speeds of 100 Mbps and above at reasonable pricing. nbn™’s most recent wholesale pricing has championed the 50 Mbps speed tier, however, they increased the bundled price of the 100 Mbps service which impacted on what we can deliver to our customers. We are continuing to work with nbn™ to obtain better pricing on the higher speeds and will pass on any savings we can get to our customers.
Please let us know which plan you want to select within a month of receiving the notification. Your plan change will then take effect on the invoice date of the following month. We will keep you informed via email when this has been completed.
The Gamer Pro Essential (uses nbn™ 50) plan provides maximum speeds of up to 50 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload.
This is a good plan that provides enough bandwidth for downloading large files, streaming services like Netflix and Stan, playing your favourite music, enjoying online gaming, keeping up to date on social media and video calling with friends and family near and far.
When multiple household members are connected to your MyRepublic service at the same time, they will all be using the available bandwidth of your MyRepublic nbn™ service. The more people online at once, the less bandwidth to go round. If you have a lot of people online in data-heavy scenarios like Gaming and Streaming or you do a lot of uploading, consider the nbn™ 100 plan.
For customers connected via FTTN/B technologies, we would have provided you information on what line speeds your service is capable of getting, please take this into consideration when selecting which speed tier is right for you.
